Configure variables for Interaction pane
Before you begin

You must create variables that you want to add in the incoming popover of the Desktop. For more information, see Create a Global Variable and Create Custom Flow Variables.

You must mark variables as Agent Viewable. For more information on how to mark a Global Variable as Agent Viewable, see Edit Global Variable in a Flow.
Procedure
Step 1 | From the Management Portal navigation bar, choose . |
Step 2 | To create a flow, click New. To edit an existing flow, click the ellipsis icon beside the flow and click Open. The Flow Designer window appears. |
Step 3 | From the Global Flow Properties pane, open the Variable Definition section. |
Step 4 | Click the Desktop Viewability and Order tab. |
Step 5 | In the Interaction Pane section, click Select Variables for Interaction Pane. The Select Variables on Interaction Pane window appears. It shows all variables along with four system variables such as Phone Number, DNIS, Queue Name, and RONA Timeout. |
Step 6 | Use the following search options to filter the list:
The list is autopopulated with variables as per your criteria entries. |
Step 7 | Check the check boxes of the variables that you want to choose for the Interaction pane. You can choose a maximum of 30 variables. |
Step 8 | Use the handle icon () beside a variable to move it up and down the list to set the order of appearance in the Interaction pane of the Desktop. |
Step 9 | Click Save. You can skip this step if you enable the Autosave toggle button. The chosen variables appear in the Interaction Pane section. |
Step 10 | (Optional) Click the x icon beside a variable to remove that variable from the list. |
